Brighton have verified the signing of 24-year-old winger Leandro Trossard on a four-year contract from Belgian champions Genk. Trossard, 24, joins for a fee thought to be around £15 million ($19m) after featuring for Genk last season, notching 14 goals and seven assists in the league alone. “We are happy to welcome Leandro to the club and glad about the impact he can have for us,” new manager Graham Potter told the club’s website.

“He’s an attack-minded player who had a very impressive season last year in helping Genk win the league title. At 24 he also brings great experience, having captained the side and also starred many times in the Europa League.”
