Ideally, Tottenham forward, Harry Kane could become the highest Premier League paid player if his contract with Manchester City materialized.
In accordance with reports in England, Pep Guardiola has had a pep talk with the England international, and a deal worth around £160million and a massive £400,00-per-week contract have been agreed.
Spurs have reportedly made a U-turn on their hardline stance and are now willing to sell their prized asset.
That deal would really make the 27-year-old the highest-paid player in Premier League history, doubling his wages.
Surprisingly, the 27-year-old would overtake Kevin De Bruyne who at the moment occupies the top spot on £385,000-a-week at City after penning a deal extension to 2025 back in May.
Kane has so far played 245 games in the Premier League and has earned 166 goals. That leaves the England international just under a hundred goals shy of Alan Shearer’s Premier League record of 260 goals.
